Today, with experienced sewers and our well equipped sewing facilities, Humboldt Specialty can produce almost any sewn product imaginable.
Our sewing machine inventory includes single and double needle machines which are especially well suited for heavier materials. Add to that, programmable sewing machines, sergers, bar tack/buttonhole, cylinder machines plus other specialty stitch machines. This allows us to handle any sewing project from the common to the extreme.
Our fabric cutting facility features a 45 foot air assist lay table. Materials are cut with vertical knives and our die cutting capabilities exceed 78″x 84″. In addition we can also staple, rivet, or grommet using both automatic and single stage systems. Regular operations involve sewing of plastic to fabric, fabric to metal screen and plastic to plastic. We also sew plastic extrusions, plastic vacuum forms, and sheet plastics to other materials.
